A fun packed weekend

While my friends were able to experience CHA, I spent a very busy weekend here in fabulous Las Vegas. We went to a UNLV Basketball game on Saturday which went into OT. Super exciting and UNLV won! Nolan and I went to High School Musical on Sunday - I never want to go to a kids concert again - the screaming - high pitch screaming! Ugh!

I hope CHA was fun and I cannot wait for you ladies to describe all the latest and greatest.

Next on the agenda at work is Super Bowl. Next to New Years Eve this is the second biggest event. I will be holding a small party for about 1500 of my closest "friends". I am looking forward to the meet and greet on Saturday with some NFL Legends.

Salsa Moves

Last week I tried this class at 24 Hour Fitness called Salsa Moves - It was so fun! (And yes, I was totally sore the next day) I went again tonight - oh my gosh - I am 100% hooked. When the class is over I feel weak and I have ran 5 miles. I recommend this class to everyone wanting to get in shape and have fun at the same time. I can't explain the pure exhaustion but good feeling and mixed together. Ahh!

Last Friday was Disney on Ice, as usual Disney did a great job. The Incredibles went on a family vacation to Disneyland and the events unfolded from there - the skating was awesome, we got to see some bits and pieces of the Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean and of course Mickey & Minnie.

Saturday I went to get a facial and massage - a treat to myself. It was awesome but guess what! Did you know that between the age of 35 - 45 you do the most of your aging. So take care of your skin and I can see the change in my skin lately - I thought it was the weather and that may be part of the problem since we are having a very dry winter - so I bought some recommended products for anti-aging. Neutrogena has an excellent line of products that even my aesthetician (I hope I spelled that correctly) uses. So my question is do any of you have any anti-aging products that you love? I know this sounds vain but I do not mind aging - but I do not want to be in my 30's and have people think I am in the 40's.

This weekend we have a lot planned, Friday time with a very good friend meeting at the Venetian after work then must hurry home for Basketball practice. Saturday Nolan has a basketball game and later that evening we are going to a UNLV game. Sunday Nolan and I have a date - we are going to see High School Musical.

24

The last two evenings I have been glued to the TV for the season premier of 24. If you watch this show it is so worth it - endless excitement, drama, action...and the list can go on and on. The worst part is that I had to choose between 24 and DH on Sunday. 24 won - so can someone please give me the a quick run-down?

I received a box of goodies from Ms. Ginger - so sorry I have not read my emails lately, which leads me to my next point - resolutions...I have not kept most of them - some I am doing good on while others still need some work - I hope to get on track soon.

We all went to the UNLV vs. BYU on Saturday - that was a blast.

Now, before I close today - what the heck is up with this COLD! I am so done with it.

Happy New Year!

The party at work on NYE was a huge success. I cannot believe I did not take a camera. The walls had shears all around the room and they were lit in shades of blue. The center-pieces were over three feet tall, the flowers were gorgeous and lights were at the tips of the branches. Entertainment was Sha-na-na and the Tokens! Everyone that attended was "wowed"

Now the aftermath sets in.

Next huge mission is Super Bowl.

Did anyone make any resolutions? I made so many hard to keep track.
  • I have started back at the gym, getting in shape is a typical resolution of mine.
  • To clear the clutter around the areas I tend to hide is another.
  • To pay bills before they are due - I tend to delay - procrastinate.
  • To pay off debt instead of accumulate more.
  • Take more pictures of my family - and include myself.
  • Blog on a more regular basis - at least once a week.
  • Read my personal email more often (I better open that up next).
  • To keep my house cleaner - or hire a maid on a more regular basis.
  • Do laundry more often.
  • Get rid of the scrapbook stuff I do not and will never use.
  • What did I leave out...hmm...

Then there are a few work resolutions.
