Celebrating 2008?
One more day until our biggest event of the year - last event for 2007.
Did you get everything you wanted for Christmas? I most certainly did, except Santa keeps forgetting the sweats I asked for... Maybe next year.
Have you made your New Year Resolutions? Did you keep yours from last year? My plan for 2007 was simple and mostly common sense stuff. They will continue towards 2008 and I may add a couple of more.
Went to a UNLV game last night - Rebels Won! They are playing a tournament in called Duel in the Desert, they played the day before and won - and they play again today. We will be cheering for the RED.
Nolan just finished a three day soccer camp. His first day was cold and windy, the rest were just cold. They played a mini world cup the last day. His was team Italy, we made a flag and they had a parade on the field. Team Italy lost in the finals to Team USA, so they came in 2nd place.

Are you ready for Christams?
I can say yes! I know I will still pick up a few things here and there over the weekend - even though they are not totally necessary. That is just how I am.
I will be wrapping today after we go to a UNLV game.
Last night had a great time at Rachel & Vinnie's Christmas party. Tomorrow we will be going to a Christmas show at South Pointe - a very special invitation from a very special group of talented entertainers.
Guess who graduated yesterday from UNLV....Larry Johnson. I had the pleasure of meeting him - what a super nice guy. Love him!

It is nice to have a few days off to spend with my family - hope you enjoy yours.

The calm before the storm
I am taking a moment to enjoy the calm. My job can be quite chaotic. This past week we had four events - who said December is slow! I still have two events for 2007 and I am ready for a new year.
On the 28th we will be having Steele cage fights (MMA) IFO, International fighting Organization.
Followed by the annual New Year's Eve Bash! Disco themed.
Serious drama at home - my husband made contact with his father. He has not seen his dad since he was 7 years old. He seems like a nice man - we will see how this relationship develops.
Ready for x-mas? Still have a few things to pick up - have most of it.
On Thursday, Mr. Nolan will have his first concert for band. I am so excited about that. Have a Christmas party to go to on Friday.
Matt has been working his little bottom off.

Off for the weekend!
Early out at work today - yeah! Actually left at 1 pm and I am off until Monday. Woo -Hoo.
Went to the gym with my husband so that I can pig out tomorrow. I am so proud of him - he lost 3 inches off of his waist and 2 inches from his thighs. He is working a football game tonight and has a couple of games tomorrow. The little guys have a tournament this weekend - good news he is right down the street.
My brother and his two beautiful girls are here! They drove down from Sparks, NV. Gabriella just called to say thank you - I left an amenity fruit basket in there room - just in case they get hungry and need a little snack. Geneva is very shy and did not start speaking until she played a board game with Nolan. Geneva won! Can't wait to spend more time with them tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.

Last weekend before last, Ms. Ginger hosted an incredible crop. Well, you know what I heard.... "POST, that is all I am going to say!"
I can't even do that in a timely manner - sorry.
Last Sunday I had to go to work (I know - who wants to work on their day off) but it was not too bad - I love giving stuff away! 25 Cruises for two to be exact. That was awesome.
This past Sunday (yesterday) had to go to work again - Invitational Slot Tournament. Made my appearance and left as soon as I could. I cleaned up my email - all communication is done via email. My staff prepared a potluck on their own to promote a little unity - OMG! Every once in awhile I get surprised. I just wished they would take more initiative. I need more motivational materials to get them pumped up. You can never turn your back on them - you get one department working well and the another is collapsing! It is mostly the females - the males are so much easier.
Looking forward to Thanksgiving - a full house of friends and family - can't ask for much more. My brother his two beautiful girls, The Schroeder's and Lisa's mom and us for a grand total of 11 people and then on Friday Rich's mom and aunt are coming into town.
Been pounding the gym having fun with my PT, he is giving me great workouts that I follow-up with Molli - I hope she is not going to kill me after the last workout - that one hurt.
Just ended the fall season of soccer - we (Rich) have decided to coach again in the spring. 5 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie.
I can't even do that in a timely manner - sorry.

busy ~ busy
I should post more often...too busy.
Been working out at the gym like a crazy woman - lost another % in body fat. Tonight is a day off from the gym - will do abs later.
Coaching a soccer team - Go Dragons! We tied our first game, won a few and then two weeks ago lost our first game this season.
Went to the Kings vs. the Lakers - my hubby got the best seats ever, third row and we sat next to Floyd Mayweather, Pretty Boy Floyd. He was so super cordial. Even his body guards are nice - I talked to one of them, he says every where they go since Dancing with the Stars, he gets bombarded with people for autographs and photos and he never turns anyone away. Anywho - I am not a "fight" person, but after meeting and watching Floyd Mayweather I will be rooting for him on his next fight - December 8th @ MGM.
The new washer is broken (fixed today) - the computer board had to be replaced and we had to wait for the part. So instead to relaxing in my quiet home - I am washing clothes.
Anyways, just been down right busy - can't think of everything that has been going on. I put a roast in the crock pot this morning I am going to enjoy some now!

Oops - I have not posted in a while....
Where did I leave off...Vacation - yes.
Dinner on day 3 was quite interesting we met some of Rich's high school friends for dinner and great Mexican restaurant. One girl Rich dated in High School but she then married his best bud.

Day 2
Went to the San Antonio Zoo, rode a train through a near by park and downtown to the Alamo. Did some shopping. Dinner that evening was with cousins Julie, Bobby and their daughter Samantha.
Day 3
Sea World all day - we got in the water with the most amazing creatures - beluga whales. they are sweet, soft, squishy and talented. An experience we will never forget.
Dinner on day 3 was quite interesting we met some of Rich's high school friends for dinner and great Mexican restaurant. One girl Rich dated in High School but she then married his best bud.Day 4
We were beginning to get tired from a non-stop weekend. Started with a trip to the San Antonio Spurs store, then to the Dallas Cowboy training camp. The last day of camp and guess who shows up - TO - I am not a big fan of his but Texas loves him - he got the most cheers every time he caught the ball. We then headed to the Riverwalk and took a boat ride through downtown.

Day 5
Return home - flight was great and our limo driver Miguel was awesome.
Since we have been home we have been non-stop ourselves. Rich is busy with sports softball/football. In fact last week he went to Jackson, Mississippi for the "Black" World Series of Softball.
We went to an exhibition game USA blue vs. USA red (the team I was rooting for lost). Been attending the UNLV football games, we have lost both home games so far.
Work has been crazy - operating plans, budgeting capital, operating, FTE's and rooms - all due this month for the 1st draft - then the budgets will be kicked back to us for further revisions due in two weeks. The worse part is that I may get more responsibility added. A particular area that I do not like but the job needs to get done - I will move forward.
Matt just started a new job - working for a company called Alexander Installation at Wynn. This is a incredible opportunity. He will have to give up working two jobs but will be making a lot more money.
Nolan is in soccer again - we are coaching his team. He also is taking band in the 6th grade. I am so excited - I went out and rented him the best of the best trumpet and after the first week he took his trumpet to school - it came up missing. So this is the story - Rich talked to the band teacher - he says you must fill out an incident report - I talked to the Dean's office and they state you need to fill out a report with the school police - I then talked to Family Music Center and they say they need a copy of NLV police report. I talked to the Dean's office to find out what they are doing about the incident - nothing - it is a good thing you got theft insurance - huh - unbelievable - so I suggested that since there is only one band teacher why can't he ask all students to open their cases and inspect there instruments. Nolan's trumpet is silver - not too many people will have a silver trumpet. So they are now searching for his trumpet - we are hoping it turns up soon.
Rich got a new car - 2007 Charger R/T inferno red V8 - 100% muscle.
Dental - one word: anxiety. I stress myself out each time I go the the dentist - I have known my dentist for 14 years yet I still have a hard time. First it was a cleaning - then a crown - I broke a tooth, then I had to go get the bite adjusted after the temp crown was put on - then I had to go back for the permanent crown. Dr. Kinard says I am "hyper-sensitive" - yep - a big wimp. Now I will have to go back in a couple of weeks to have a filling re-done.

Our Vacation - Day 1
We had a great vacation - except the Texas sized bugs and they bite. We brought home a few bug bites and they still itch - any suggestions to easy the itch?

After landing and getting a rental car we headed for to Grandma's house (Rich's mom). Picked her up and went to the Ohlenbusch Ranch in Bulverde, TX better known as the Double M Ranch. (Marge & Marvin) They have the most beautiful home - they customer built their house and I would not be surprised to see it in a magazine currently spent over $900,000+ We spent the majority of our time out there outside. The backyard was like a tropical resort, pool, spa, BBQ grill, huge patio and lots of cousins....Brian and Mel & their children Austin, Courtney and Cassidy. Julie (her husband Bobby was not there) & two of three daughters Jessica & Amanda. Gina and her son Will. Aunt Marge and Uncle Marvin. Miss Sarah and the four of us. We all relaxed, had a great BBQ, drank a few cocktails, and heard a lot of stories. Here are a few pictures.

On the ranch were longhorns and deer, at a close by ranch we could see Zebra & Elk & huge fish. When the sun was going down this is what the ranch looked like.
We did not leave until after midnight - we had so much fun spending time with the family. It is amazing seeing Nolan and Matt band with cousins that they have not seen in ten years. I can not put it in words of how much love they showed towards us and each other - a very tight group of people. There was the usual out bursts if someone did not get there way but overall lots of hugs - playing in the pool - playing ping pong - telling stories from their younger years.
We arrived at the airport by limo, courtesy of my work. Once we went through security this is what the boys looked like.

dys·func·tion

dra·ma
act1 a : a composition in verse or prose intended to portray life or character or to tell a story usually involving conflicts and emotions through action and dialogue and typically designed for theatrical performance
b : a movie or television production with characteristics (as conflict) of a serious play; broadly : a play, movie, or television production with a serious tone or subject
2 : dramatic art, literature, or affairs
3 a : a state, situation, or series of events involving interesting or intense conflict of forces b : dramatic state, effect, or quality
That is how I describe my family - in particular my sister. Long story - but the fact is that this gal needs to get off the meds.
Last night I was suppose to go to work for about an hour and then I would have the entire evening to myself - that all changed when my lil' bro called and then every things went out of control from there - I am so glad I do not live near them. I am very thankful I have landed far enough away.

Harry Potter
Finished the book a few days ago - loved it and hated it.
Most of the book was great - I was waiting for a dramatic ending and did not get it - so I was a little disappointed - it appears J.K. Rowling rushed to end the book/story.
Now I am listening to the audio - it is better than listening to silly talk shows on my way to work in the mornings.

Happy Birthday Molli!
Hope you are enjoying your vacation Molli.
Good news - it appears that the girl's insurance will cover all the damages and they are sending a claims agent to look at my car tomorrow. Just a huge inconvenience for me.
Budgeting is actually going well so far - much better than last year. (yes, I am knocking on wood)
Very humid here in Las Vegas - we are not use to this stuff - really bad hair day.

Crap!
I knew after driving my car for a week that my car had a sign on it that said "HIT ME!" I have had my car for a total of thirteen - 13 - lucky 13 months and today was the day. A young girl hit my car in the rear - the bumper has some minor damage and my truck in a little out of line. I must have tensed up cause my lower right back is a little sore. Everyone is fine - I am sure I will feel it tomorrow. I was coming out of IBEW credit union and at the stop sign I stopped but the girl behind me did not - thank goodness she was not going any faster - BIG SUV against a little car - not good.
Since I am leasing my car the damage must be fixed and this girl did not take any of my information, so on the advise of Molli I contacted her insurance and submitted a claim with her insurance as well as mine.
Nolan is going to get his braces on - the orothodontist wanted to put spacers on him on Tuesday and braces next week - but we will be going on vacation the first week of August and I want him to be able to enjoy our vacation. So when we return he will get his braces on just in time to start middle school - he will be able to get the braces off before High School.
Molli's b-day is coming up - what to get her...hmm... I tried to get a little info out of her but she was not too helpful.

They're Here
I could only be talking about the Schroeders'. Minus Rob, he is driving the moving van. RJ and Nolan act like they have not missed a beat. Lisa is awesome - a little tired.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - the movie was a disappointment - the fighting scene was great. The movie rushed through so much the story line was lost.
Struggling through the budget process at work - I have part of it done, but I need to get it finished before we go on vacation - so much to do to take a week off.
Can't wait to take some time off.

Safety Tips
Below are a few Safety tips - an email that was sent at work.
Nearly 11,000 people sought emergency room treatment for fireworks injuries in 2006, half of them were children according to the American College of Emergency Physicians.
One-third of fireworks injuries involve hands and fingers, while one-quarter involve the eyes.
The top three offenders were small firecrackers, fireworks rockets and SPRINKLERS.
Sprinklers? That might seem surprising until you consider that they reach temperatures of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. Sparks can accidentally ignite clothing worn or produce serious bodily injuries when exposed to this kind of heat and flame. Be Extra Careful!
“Even when using sparklers at home, everyone needs to remember to use common sense when handling fireworks products! Most injuries seen at hospitals and emergency cares are associated with blindness, third-degree burns and permanent scarring.” Akron City Hospital
Here are some tips to help avoid injuries from fireworks:
· Have a portable extinguisher, hose or bucket of water nearby for emergencies.
· Use fireworks only outdoors.
· Use in a clear, clean open area.
· Stay far away from the fireworks; never put your head or parts of your body over the top of any fireworks product.
· Light only on product at a time.
· Wear safety glasses
· Always supervise children, even with sparklers.
· Use only authorized fireworks for your area.
· Take advantage of your community fireworks where professional are in control.
Carelessness is obviously a prime cause of fireworks injuries, even the most careful can face mishaps resulting from unpredictable occurrences like faulty firecrackers, premature or delayed explosions, errant flight paths and unexpected wind gusts.
Last but not least, fireworks caused an estimated 32,300 fires per year according to the National Fire Protection Association. Be considerate to your community and property. ENJOY BUT BE SAFE! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Happy Father's Day
To all the dad's out there - Happy Father's Day!
We are planning to BBQ - Swim - hang out and relax. Rich bought his own Father's Day present two months ago - UNLV Football season tickets. He has been doing this the last few seasons.
Went to 24 hour fitness yesterday and had a free session with Molli and her personal trainer - I am so sore. Shoulders and Chest - I won't be doing those for a while. It is a good sore - but it hurts.
Molli - if you are reading - your teeth look GREAT!

Happy Flag Day
Lake Mead - no trees, it is just a big hole with water - add a boat and friends and that equals a BLAST.
Rach and Vin have invited us to spend time on their boat for quite sometime - This past weekend we took them up on their offer. Saturday we spent the day on their boat and was pulled all over on a inner tube. It was such a great day - I did not know that I was going to have a workout - the next day I could not move and have bruises on the elbows and knees from bouncing around. Still - overall - A great day.
Rich spent three days in a football camp for high school teams and referees/umpires - he said he learned a lot.
Matt starts a new job tomorrow with Pulte. Though it is not the job of his dreams it is a "foot on the door".
Work is work (yep a four letter word) - It has its moments - today I dealt with employee issues for 90% of the day - why can't people just get along? Waiting for the designers to show us their concepts of the new remodel.
The Las Vegas valley has less than a 24 hour supply of 0-negative blood - so the vampires called and I donated on Tuesday. So if you are eligible - please donate, you never know when or if you will ever need this service. My son was in need a couple of years ago - we are very grateful for the 4 pints he received.

The Schroeders' are moving back to Las Vegas - six weeks and counting.

Huge Project
Multi-Million $$$$
This is so exciting....
Hiring designers.
Colors
Furniture
Flat screen TVs
Tile
I am on the Room Renovation Committee. We are spending tons of money to renovate one of our towers at work so that we can get our ADR (Average Daily Rate) higher.
Chicago to Las Vegas to Chicago to Las Vegas - could only be talking about The Schroeder's moving back July 20th. My little man RJ will be turning 10 this year! Talked to him on the phone - miss you kid! Big hugs!

June Already! What happened to May?
Yikes! I cannot believe how fast time goes by. We have finished soccer season and with a winning record of 6 wins and 2 losses - we had a great time coaching a terrific group of kids.
Rich's cousin recently called and he is now getting home sick, so we are planning a trip to San Antonio this summer. There are decent airfares right now, so it is the matter if Matt is getting another job any time soon. You never want to start a new job and say "by the way I need time off." So hopefully, we will know soon. He recently got a really good lead - hope it works out for him. (Cross your fingers!)
At work, things are falling into place in one department while one is struggling. Too many girls together in one department is not a good mix.
Ginger has requested a color change - so please tell me if you can now read this.

Happy Mother's Day
I just called my mom and wished her happy mom's day - did you call yours?
I plan on doing absolutely nothing. We are swimming in the pool today, being 100% lazy, I have a great BBQ dinner planned that includes steak and shrimp - angel food cake and strawberries.
Yesterday Nolan had a birthday party to go to at the Mini Grand Prix. While he was there I had a very nice dinner with my husband at Joe's Crab Shack. We sat outside and had a couple of margaritas with dinner. Went to go pick Nolan - but he had a few more minutes so we rode the go-carts - that was so FUN!

A little Controversy
Okay Seriously!
Why?
Why do kids cut class to walk in a protest? Why did they not learn from last years protests? Why do they block the streets so that normal hard working people cannot get to work? Why did they carry the Mexican Flag instead of the American Flag? Why? Why? Why?
May 1st, instead of May Day is it now known as national Mexico Day? Yes - this is a heated debate with me. Had to write it down instead of go off on someone in public and have something bad happen. If they want America to listen then do something productive!
Enough of that, our soccer team is doing so well. We have the best group of kids ever! Four games and four victories - can you tell I am EXCITED!
Work is always a challenge - always keeping a positive attitude - why don't others just try? Some people are just unhappy and the worst part is that they bring others down.
Nolan has become so social - always something going on, I remember when Matt was the same way.

Oh - Brother! & Soccer
My lil' bro is in town for an all bachelor weekend - have not seen him very much. They are hanging out at hotel pools and a lot of bar hopping - to have that life again - nope - remember the day after - yikes. I am super glad he is enjoying life after a messy divorce. When I saw him I was not excepting all the tattoos. He is trying to cover one that he and his ex got at the same time - he is going pretty extreme. He claims the "chickies" love it.
Rich and I are coaching a soccer team - Go Dragons! We were asked to help because the league was short one coach. Two games behind us - we are looking forward to the next six. It is only an eight game season. The first week we won 5- 0 and this past Saturday 2 - 0. Nolan is very proud to have scored a goal in each game. We have really good kids on the team - the crazy thing is they all listen and learn. I thought it was going to be more difficult with the age group of 10 -12 year olds but we are so lucky to have supportive parents. Wish us LUCK!

Happy Easter
Happy Easter.
Took a few pictures today.
Went to the movies and saw Meet the Robinson's - it was alright - boring at times, but a good story - never give up - keep moving forward.
Colored a few eggs last night.

Spring?!?!
Spring officially started in March but April will be the first full month. Spring is usually the worst month for allergies - sniffle, sneeze. Spring also begins soccer season (again). My husband took on the responsibility of coaching Nolan's soccer team. The league was in dire need of one more coach - he was more than happy to volunteer. So I am co-coach. We are having a blast. This was not the first time the league has asked him to coach - at least we cannot complain about a lousy coach this season. The team was named the Dragons - the kids loved the name. Our shirts will be white. Please wish us bunches of luck!
The cover for Harry Potter was recently released and the talk has been tremendous. Some questions recently came up... Who is RAB? Will Harry return to Hogwarts? Is Snape good or evil? What is the last Horcrux? Who will live and who will die? Where is the locket? There are plenty of websites to debate these questions. I cannot wait until July - a movie and book both will be released.
On the work front - it is going well, with the first quarter just ending, we need to get everything reported in a timely matter. I have exceeded rooms budget for Jan. and Feb. but March is a little low - overall the first quarter rooms were ahead of budget. I am very worried about meeting budget the second quarter mainly because conventions take up so many rooms it is hard for marketing to get enough rooms.
I finally bought a bedroom set - it is beautiful. Cherry with iron accents. As soon as I spent the money and order the bedroom set the washer that was just repaired not too long ago went out. Why is it as soon as you spend money you wish you had not? So, I bought a new washer - I am pretty happy with it, I can wash more and use less water and laundry soap. It is not a front loader but it is a HE.
The pool is warming up and the boys are tempted to jump in. To me this means I better get to the gym more if I want to get in a swimsuit. I do not like going to the gym on Mondays - always crowded, Tuesday was yoga night (yep I am still sore), last night I got home in time for the Salsa class (that was fun). Today is a night off - I cannot believe GA is a repeat. When do the new episodes begin?

Grateful
Could anyone be so humble?
A recent radio interview showed one Desperate Housewives star as a genuine grateful, respectable man. I could only be talking about James Denton who plays Mike. James Denton was asked about having fans come up to him in awkward spots, he stated "I was on my way to the bathroom and I really had to go, when this guy stopped me and pointed me out to his wife, he actually had a handful of my shirt" I am quoting bits and pieces from his interview "anyone who gives an hour a week to watch and support the show, I do not mind talking to them and taking pictures". All I can say is wow. "I always keep in perspective of who pays my salary."
So I want to apply this way of thinking into my job and carry this into the future.

This one is for Ginger!
Per a recent email, I need to blog - Blog Mum Blog! You crack me up. It has been six days since the last entry - and I thought I was doing good.
Ginger thanks - I always need a good laugh, giggle, smile.
Today is my hubby's B-Day so a great BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICH!
Wednesday and Thursday I was not feeling well at all - yuk. Some stomach virus - was not fun at all.
Nolan had a basketball game on Saturday - I missed it (big meeting at work) but I did not miss much, their team won 52 to 9. I feel bad for the other team - so sad.
Working on the weekend, had a luncheon with my host staff, exlpained their next incentive program is based on GROWTH, some responded well while others think the company does not want to pay out as much as they had in 2006. Creating a good work environment with so many negative people is hard.
Today we went furniture shopping, been looking for awhile. Found bedroom furniture, chery wood. The had to order it so maybe in two or three weeks we will get it.
Last weekend we did some organizing and this is what I bought:

Clearing the Clutter Part Two
Day two:
I did manage to get a few LO's done over the past couple of weeks and a few older ones that were never posted - enjoy!

A trip to Home Depot lead to the organization area. We bought $467 of beautiful storage units. When we got home Rich, Matt and myself put together all the pieces for my scrapbook supplies. It helps having a carpenter in the family. It looks great - I will post pictures later (my battery is dead). After putting the units together it was time to clean, move furniture around to the right spots, organize and more cleaning - I am wiped out.

Clearing the clutter
Part of my new year resolutions was to clear away the clutter - today after my son's basketball game the cleaning began. It is amazing how much stuff you accumulate over the years. I cannot believe at how much stuff went to the curb. At that is out of our bedroom, mostly clothing that we no longer wear.
By the way my son's team won!

Happy Saturday!
I have been so looking forward to this weekend. Glad Super Bowl is over! Great Game! Great party at work!
My son has been working on shed for all the pool supplies then he will be building another for yard supplies and storage. So I will be helping him out today. Yep, hammering away (when he lets me). What a great way to take out furstrations.
This past week it has been spring like in Las Vegas - lovin' it! This is why we all move to the great city! Lots of clouds yesterday and today but temps still in the 70's.

A fun packed weekend
While my friends were able to experience CHA, I spent a very busy weekend here in fabulous Las Vegas. We went to a UNLV Basketball game on Saturday which went into OT. Super exciting and UNLV won! Nolan and I went to High School Musical on Sunday - I never want to go to a kids concert again - the screaming - high pitch screaming! Ugh!
I hope CHA was fun and I cannot wait for you ladies to describe all the latest and greatest.
Next on the agenda at work is Super Bowl. Next to New Years Eve this is the second biggest event. I will be holding a small party for about 1500 of my closest "friends". I am looking forward to the meet and greet on Saturday with some NFL Legends.

Salsa Moves
Last week I tried this class at 24 Hour Fitness called Salsa Moves - It was so fun! (And yes, I was totally sore the next day) I went again tonight - oh my gosh - I am 100% hooked. When the class is over I feel weak and I have ran 5 miles. I recommend this class to everyone wanting to get in shape and have fun at the same time. I can't explain the pure exhaustion but good feeling and mixed together. Ahh!
Last Friday was Disney on Ice, as usual Disney did a great job. The Incredibles went on a family vacation to Disneyland and the events unfolded from there - the skating was awesome, we got to see some bits and pieces of the Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean and of course Mickey & Minnie.
Saturday I went to get a facial and massage - a treat to myself. It was awesome but guess what! Did you know that between the age of 35 - 45 you do the most of your aging. So take care of your skin and I can see the change in my skin lately - I thought it was the weather and that may be part of the problem since we are having a very dry winter - so I bought some recommended products for anti-aging. Neutrogena has an excellent line of products that even my aesthetician (I hope I spelled that correctly) uses. So my question is do any of you have any anti-aging products that you love? I know this sounds vain but I do not mind aging - but I do not want to be in my 30's and have people think I am in the 40's.
This weekend we have a lot planned, Friday time with a very good friend meeting at the Venetian after work then must hurry home for Basketball practice. Saturday Nolan has a basketball game and later that evening we are going to a UNLV game. Sunday Nolan and I have a date - we are going to see High School Musical.

24
The last two evenings I have been glued to the TV for the season premier of 24. If you watch this show it is so worth it - endless excitement, drama, action...and the list can go on and on. The worst part is that I had to choose between 24 and DH on Sunday. 24 won - so can someone please give me the a quick run-down?
I received a box of goodies from Ms. Ginger - so sorry I have not read my emails lately, which leads me to my next point - resolutions...I have not kept most of them - some I am doing good on while others still need some work - I hope to get on track soon.
We all went to the UNLV vs. BYU on Saturday - that was a blast.
Now, before I close today - what the heck is up with this COLD! I am so done with it.

Happy New Year!
The party at work on NYE was a huge success. I cannot believe I did not take a camera. The walls had shears all around the room and they were lit in shades of blue. The center-pieces were over three feet tall, the flowers were gorgeous and lights were at the tips of the branches. Entertainment was Sha-na-na and the Tokens! Everyone that attended was "wowed"
Now the aftermath sets in.
Next huge mission is Super Bowl.
Did anyone make any resolutions? I made so many hard to keep track.
Now the aftermath sets in.
Next huge mission is Super Bowl.
Did anyone make any resolutions? I made so many hard to keep track.
- I have started back at the gym, getting in shape is a typical resolution of mine.
- To clear the clutter around the areas I tend to hide is another.
- To pay bills before they are due - I tend to delay - procrastinate.
- To pay off debt instead of accumulate more.
- Take more pictures of my family - and include myself.
- Blog on a more regular basis - at least once a week.
- Read my personal email more often (I better open that up next).
- To keep my house cleaner - or hire a maid on a more regular basis.
- Do laundry more often.
- Get rid of the scrapbook stuff I do not and will never use.
- What did I leave out...hmm...
Then there are a few work resolutions.
