Rach and Vin have invited us to spend time on their boat for quite sometime - This past weekend we took them up on their offer. Saturday we spent the day on their boat and was pulled all over on a inner tube. It was such a great day - I did not know that I was going to have a workout - the next day I could not move and have bruises on the elbows and knees from bouncing around. Still - overall - A great day.
Rich spent three days in a football camp for high school teams and referees/umpires - he said he learned a lot.
Matt starts a new job tomorrow with Pulte. Though it is not the job of his dreams it is a "foot on the door".
The Schroeders' are moving back to Las Vegas - six weeks and counting.
Work is work (yep a four letter word) - It has its moments - today I dealt with employee issues for 90% of the day - why can't people just get along? Waiting for the designers to show us their concepts of the new remodel.
The Las Vegas valley has less than a 24 hour supply of 0-negative blood - so the vampires called and I donated on Tuesday. So if you are eligible - please donate, you never know when or if you will ever need this service. My son was in need a couple of years ago - we are very grateful for the 4 pints he received.

Thank you for that note on donating blood. I'm down at our local clinic every Friday, donating plasma (you can donate this stuff every week, which really helps the old numbers climb pretty quickly.)
I'm up to 232 donations, and I really got into it after my father's first cardiac surgery. It touched me that complete strangers had donated for him. So it was only natural that I should do the same. I sure wish more than 3.5% of the population thought similarly: after all, over 50% of us will, at some point in our lives, require a transfusion.
Of course, it isn't all altruisim. I find it cathartic to spend time surrounded by such amazing people every week. From the donors to the nurses and staff, the clinic is an oasis of goodness that makes my week. The cookies, juice and soup aren't bad either :)
